TSPSC 7306 Posts in Residential Educational Institutions Societies | Trained Graduate Teacher

Telangana State Public Service Commissioner (#TSPSC) has issued a revised notification vide its Notification No.14/2017 to the post of Trained Graduate Teacher in Residential Educational Institutions Societies i.e. MJPBTBCWREIS, TSTWREIS, TSWREIS, TMREIS and TREIS.  Before applying for the posts, candidates shall register themselves as per the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website of TSPSC. Those who have registered in OTR already shall apply by login to their profile using their TSPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR.

The Examination (Objective Type) is likely to be held during May/June, 2017

Screening Test for the post of Physical Director, Optional Subjects and English Language of PGT & TGT post is scheduled to be held on 31.05.2017.

A separate screening test for the language post of  PGT, TGT i.e. Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit will be held on 14.06.2017


The candidates who applied for the post of TGT languages posts i.e. Telugu, Hindi and Urdu are hereby informed that the Question Paper for the Screening Test will be supplied in the particular language only i.e., the Telugu paper will be in Telugu language. However, the questions related to Basic Proficiency in English will be in English version only for languages posts also. The entire Question Paper for Sanskrit will be in English version only.

The candidates who possess qualifications more than one post may submit more than one application according to their eligibility.

Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University/ Institution as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in the relevant Bye Laws/ Service Regulations, indented by the Residential Educational Institutions Societies as on the Date of Notification.

i) B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 50% of marks from a University recognized by the UGC (Annexure-A).
(In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%)
Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with the subject concerned as a methodology subject from any institution recognized by the NCTE
ii) 4 years B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed, with atleast 50% marks with the subject concerned as a Methodology from any institution recognized by the NCTE.
(In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%)
iii) Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional subjects (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (OR) Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in Language concerned from a University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% AND Language Pandit Training Certificate / B.Ed. with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies from any Institution recognized by NCTE, in respect of Language Teachers.
(In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%)
Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
Note: 20% of weightage will be given to TET Paper-II score and 80% weightage to the written test conducted by TSPSC. In case of APTET, scores obtained before the appointed day i.e, 02-06-2014 shall only be considered.


Candidates with the following conditions are only eligible
  1. Academic degree of Universities recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC).
  2. Teacher Education courses recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
  3. The Candidates who have obtained Degrees through Open Universities and Deemed Universities/Distance Education mode are required to have recognition by the University Grants Commission, Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education and with jurisdiction to operate such courses in the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh as case may be. Unless such Degrees have been recognized by the relevant statutory Authority, they will not be accepted for purpose of Educational Qualification. The onus of proof of recognition by the relevant Statutory Authority that their Degrees/ Universities have been recognised rests with the Candidate.
  4. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): The candidates should have passed paper-II of State TET / Paper-II of CTET. Candidates applying with CTET, Paper-II qualification should have opted with Telugu/Urdu/Hindi as one of the languages in CTET.
AGE: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44* years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2017

AGE RELAXATION: The upper age limit prescribed above is, however, relaxable in the following cases:

Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay RS. 120/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the following category of candidates belonging to Telangana State only are exempted from payment of Examination fee.
SC, ST, BC & PH.
Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years (They have to submit a declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).
N.B.: - BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled to any kind of reservation.


The Written Examination (Objective Type) will be held at HYDERABAD (including HMDA Jurisdiction) only or all erstwhile District headquarters
